Dresden: Nazi rally blocked

More than 20,000 people demonstrated last weekend in Dresden against war, neo-fascism and remembered the victims of the bombing. wanted
thousands of demonstrators blocked a march by about 600 neo-Nazis who had come to bawling on the pretext of mourning hate speech and celebrate their revenge. Courts had previously again the neo-Nazi march allowed because the application NPD is still not banned as unconstitutional. Despite urgent appeals to non-violence civil disobedience led to clashes with the police. Attempts by the far right, in Leipzig and elsewhere to organize alternative demos, also failed.
